Born in China, Ou Tingzhu 區廷柱 graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and obtained his master’s degree in lacquer art. His works are created with layers of lacquer finely applied on hemp cloth. Inspired by natural light and shadow, he intentionally keeps his works in black and white colours.
